Brazilian Powerhouse may miss Olympics - 07/14/08
A major player in the world of volleyball is in danger of missing the Olympics, due to a knee injury. Juliana a member of Brazil's #3 ranked women's beach volleyball team injured her right knee at the Grand Slam event in Paris last month and will likely not see any action on it until the Olympics. Even though surgery was recommended on the injured ligament, Juliana plans to take a more conservative approach to treatment in hopes she will be able to participate in the Olympics in Beijing.
